Bonger Lid Cleaning

With use over time, your lid may need to be cleaned. When needed wash the lid in warm soapy water and rinse and dry thoroughly.

As always, Mason Jars are dishwasher safe, do not put the lid in the dishwasher as the heated dry settings may warp your lid.

Pro Tip #1

Try using boiling water instead of chemicals to clean your bong. Boiling water will dissolve the resins and get your bong clean enough. Pair with a quality glass cleaner once a week.

Pro Tip #2

When cleaning your bong with boiling water always wear rubber gloves so you don’t burn your hands, and the glass doesn’t slip. Avoid using poor quality glass.

Pro Tip #3

Still finding the smoke a little harsh? Make sure you’re using the proper humidity level and try adding components such as an ash catcher and carbon filter. An ash catcher and carbon filter will go a long way in smoothing out the rip.

Lip balm on the threads of your grinder will help it from seizing up.

Pro Tip #5

Suffering from a sticky grinder? Try using a light cooking oil (grape seed, or canola) to clean it. The oil will absorb the stickiness of the residue. Once it has soaked for 30 min, pour the remaining oil into 250ml wide mouth mason jar to use next time, or use for cooking. Use boiling water with a quality dish soap (Dawn) to remove the oil. Q-tips will help remove the moisture in the hard to reach places.
